The 2022 Honda Civic comes in four different trim levels to choose from. The trim levels starting from the base model and up are LX, Sport, EX, and Touring.
The major difference between the 2021 Honda Civic and the all-2022 Honda Civic is the updated technology. The 2022 Civic will now come standard with either 7.0-inch or 9.0-inch touchscreen display integrated with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, depending on the trim level you choose. Additionally, the Touring model will come equipped with wireless Apple CarPlay, second-row USB ports, a 12-speaker Bose premium audio system, and a wireless charging pad.
The main differences between the Honda Civic and Honda Civic Hatchback are the exterior design and interior space. The Civic Hatchback will have a raise-open door, also known as hatch in the back (i.e. hatchback!) instead of a standard lift to open the trunk, which gives the hatchback a slightly more sporty look and additional cargo/storage space than the Civic sedan. Both look good in their own ways.
The Honda Civic does come equipped with additional safety features compared to the previous 2021 model. Additional features include traffic jam assist, a traffic sign recognition system, parking sensors, blind-spot information system, rear seat reminder, and low-speed braking control, depending on the trim level you choose.
